DESCRIPTION:Developed by the Australian Childhood Foundation\, \nBringing Up Great Kids (BUGK) is a reflective parenting program that aims to support parents/carers to review and change their patterns of interacting with their children.\, Promoting reflective parenting skills and developing communication skills to encourage children’s positive self-identity. \nThis program is available for Blue Mountains and Lithgow residents only. \nWhere: Online via Microsoft Teams \nWhen:  Thursdays weekly 24th July – 28th August 2025\, 1.00pm – 2.00pm \nAll 6 sessions must be attended to complete the course. \nRegistrations close 10th July 2025\, unless all spots filled beforehand. \nCertificate of attainment will only be awarded to participants who complete all 6 sessions. Unfortunately due to staffing capacity\, catch up sessions are not available. \n  \n  \n  \n

The program is a great\, non – blaming way to get parents thinking about how they interact with their children and how to manage some of the challenges of parenting after experiencing family violence. \nProgram Outline \n\nDeveloped specifically for caregivers who may be facing challenges in addition to their parenting support needs\nThe focus of the group is about understanding how past experiences might affect how you get along as a family today\nParticipants will learn about their relational patterns and develop skills in emotion coaching and limit setting.\n\nThis program is available for Blue Mountains and Lithgow residents only. \nWhere: Online via Microsoft Teams \nWhen:  Every Wednesday  6th August – 3rd September 2025\, 1.00pm – 2.00pm \nAll 5 sessions must be attended to complete the course. \nRegistrations close: Friday 25th July 2025 \n  \n  \nCertificate of attainment will only be awarded to participants who complete all 5 sessions.
