DESCRIPTION:Thrive Services are pleased to facilitate The Black Box Parenting Program\, we will be running this as an intensive program\, with 4 sessions over 2 weeks. \nBlack Box focuses on how a parents own experiences can impact the way we parent our children and the way we interpret our childrens behaviours. \nProgram Outline \n\nDeveloped specifically for caregivers who may be facing challenges in addition to their parenting support needs\nThe focus of the group is about understanding how past experiences might affect how you get along as a family today\nParticipants will learn about their relational patterns and develop skills in emotion coaching and limit setting.\n\nThis program is available for Blue Mountains and Lithgow residents only. \nWhere: Online via Microsoft Teams \nWhen: Week 1 Monday 15th June and Wednesday 17th June\, 11am – 12.30pm | Week 2 Monday 22nd June and Wednesday 24th June\, 11am – 12.30pm \nAll 4 sessions must be attended to complete the course. \nCertificate of attainment will only be awarded to participants who complete all 4 sessions. \nRegistrations are now CLOSED for the Black Box Parenting Intensive. \nIf you missed out on registering for this term’s program\, we encourage you to visit our Parenting Programs page\, located under the Services tab\, and complete an Expression of Interest form.
