Thrive Services are pleased to facilitate The Black Box Parenting Program is an innovative program developed specifically for the challenges after trauma. The program is a great, non – blaming way to get parents thinking about how they interact with their children and how to manage some of the challenges of parenting after experiencing family violence.
Program Outline
- Developed specifically for caregivers who may be facing challenges in addition to their parenting support needs
- The focus of the group is about understanding how past experiences might affect how you get along as a family today
- Participants will learn about their relational patterns and develop skills in emotion coaching and limit setting.
This program is available for Blue Mountains and Lithgow residents only.
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams
When: Every Wednesday 6th August – 3rd September 2025, 1.00pm – 2.00pm
All 5 sessions must be attended to complete the course.
Registrations close: Friday 25th July 2025
Certificate of attainment will only be awarded to participants who complete all 5 sessions. Unfortunately due to staffing capacity, catch up sessions are not available.
